Doubt it, you've already said it's Berbatov.

fergie won't sell berbatov because it would look bad

and where do you get these 'real prices' from? is there a catalogue somewhere? or do the players have little white price tags on them suddenly?

a player costs what the market dictates and it's a different price for different buyers because different buyers are in different situations, more or less desperate, more or less able to wait, with alternatives or without etc.

I would be amazed if United were at all interested in Zlatan tbh.

The only reason he is even linked is because he is the only high profile player not linked to our major rivals, that is available and not on his way to Madrid.

Lazy journalism at best imo. I just can't see United entering into the market for players at that level with the market as it is.

it is true though that Ferguson admitted he'd been watching Zlatan's progress at Inter and thinks he's finally got his act together as it were.

I think the interviews went out around the time of the the 2nd rd game this season. around then anyhoo, as I saw a bit of him talking about the player on TV - might have been at his press conference maybe?

that was before his point blank miss got Inter knocked out, but even so...

still, it's a giant leap from there to offering part ex and 20 million quid
