Default Micah Richards

Seems to be a lot of reports today linking us with Richards.
What would be your thoughts if we went in for him?

Me, would love it, very good player who will get better with better players around him. Would also piss off the Berties big time in the community pub.

Would love to have him. Excellent player, just can't really see it happening though.

Think he'd be a good signing but not convinved by the pricetag being reported (£20m i think). Think we could bring in more quality across the squad for that.

Very good player, could be an excellent player. Heard he could do with being taken down a peg or two though.

Overrated IMO. A waste of money. Will probably end up at Arsenal anyway.

I would think that it would help United market penetration in Chapeltown and it would probably result in T2 making a bassline ode to United and Cantors chippy would offer southern fried chicken at 1996 prices for one day only

I think he's a good player.

Cant see Arsenal getting involved at that price, so I think Chelski would our rivals for him, but where would he fit in there?

Still cant see it happening though.

I heard last year that his agent approached utd saying that he wanted to play champs football and stay around the area, also telling them to make the first move and if bid was accepted then he would be more than interested in moving, but with uncertainty on neville they didnt proceed as they thought neville would only be out for the first few weeks on the season.

Now last week the day before city played liverpool (so the saturday) this guy came into our hotel,he comes in all the time and he is a big shareholder at city, and he was saying how he has just been at carrington and the shits hitting the fan and the players are refusing to train, so he was going on about how a few of the players have turned round and said if eriksson isnt here nxt year then were goin.

These players are Dunne whos been talking to keegan, Ireland who is on the verge of going to sunderland, Johnson is wants to go liverpool and according to him richards agent was in quite advanced talks with utd. So i put the question forward that he dislikes utd, which ive heard regulary in the past and according to richards this doesnt matter and its the money that talks. Now ever since he said this its been in the papers virtually ever day about him going to us.

Citeh would obviously rather he went to chelsea than us

Think its one of those where we would need the player to really want to come to us and be a @#%&! about it.

Was reading something else about him elsewhere about how he's turned shit & is far too muscular & has the turning circle of 3 Tom Huddletones.

Don't really remember seeing much of him this year tbf.

Would anyone still want him after Rafael & Evans respective arrivals?
