pique turns like a plane thought. with the way arsenal play he will be caught to far up the pitch quite alot.

Worth trying out against someone shite but too risky against Arsenal.

I don't even think Brown's that bad anyway, had a good season for me. I don't see why his crossing is much of an issue anywa because even if we had £#%&!ing Beckham at right-back there's nobody to get on the end of them.
i cannot see what you have against hargreaves tbh. he is a class act imo. You are usually so knowledgeable too

If he is sold it will be to a top spanish team, he's very highly rated in spain.

Most likely. I don't think he'll be here next season.

Maybe we'll include him in an offer for Dani Alves? I wish

Turns like a plane. I like it, best analogy for slow turnage yet, second is, 'You could lose him in a phone box'. Which is also turn related.

That's Hargreaves technique. He obviously doesn't trust himself to stop a ball dead so uses his first touch to push the ball away from him and any nearby opponents then rushes after it.

Park does it a bit too. Well something similar - second touch is a tackle.

Less risky than £#%&!ing up attempting to kill the ball and being caught in possession.

agreed, thought he was very effective last night. a back four of hargy vidic rio evra is very promising. much better than brown. also opens up a space in the middle for carrick.

VDS1

H4 - F5 - V15 - E3

R7 - S18 - C16 - G11

R10 - T32

Will start on Sunday.

Possibly Brown in for Hargreaves.

The Rio stuff is just a WUM, it wont really work though so I dunno why SAF is doing it, it'll scare our own fans more than anything.

If Rio doesn't start we'll concede for sure.

why?

if rio is fit, the back four should be brown - snoop - vidic - evra. why £#%&! about?

hargreaves tackles better as a roving midfielder than he does as a right back facing a winger.

obviously, he's better going forward than brown, but we're not playing bolton again.

We'll play the old 4-5-1 / 4-3-3 on Sunday.
No question about that.....as the gaffer would no doubt say.

Everything crossed that Rio will be fit, in which case it'll be:

KEEPER (£#%&! knows who's fit/likely to start)

EVRA
VIDIC
RIO
WES

HARGREAVES/FLETCHER
SCHOLES
CARRICK/ANDERSON

GIGGS
ROONEY
RONALDO

if Rio's out:

KEEPER

EVRA
VIDIC
BROWN
HARGREAVES

FLETCHER
SCHOLES
CARRICK/ANDERSON

GIGGS
ROONEY
RONALDO

Our lack of a consistent side/formation is making this run-in look all the more hectic & disjointed IMO.
We're chopping & changing too much. We need to be slipping into gear now - last 8 games.

What winger?

He'll be up against Babel, who isn't your average winger who will run at the defender.

We can afford using him there.

Brown is a @#%&!.

Just put Babel on his left foot and he's useless, Torres left foot is pretty weak too.
