Good for the Ireland team, hope they qualify.

Always nice to see as many Englishmen at a tournament as possible.

It was. The same day Ireland beat the Netherlands... the last time Ireland ever beat a team rated higher than them till tonight

Beat them in Euro 2000 as well. Totally outplayed but snuck a thoroughl undeserved 1-0 win. I'm sure the Irish fans can relate to this fantastic "achievement"

Dont think Germany were actually world champions when we beat them tbf. We beat Spain when they were.

will be very tough to win in poland. just delighted with tonight and a play off place. who knows though? would have taken a sudden death game to qualify automatically if offered at the start of qualifying.
