Amazingly, the one player worth a nibble from Southampton, they haven't showed any interest in, in James Ward-Prowse

Would much rather him stay tbh

He's a decent enough player, nothing special though and them having an extra £80m to drop on players like Van Dyke etc is more of a boost for them than keeping this bloke

Obviously the best scenario is they sell him, miss out on Van Dyke who goes to Chelsea, leaving them with a deadline day loan move for Steven Caulker or some other shit @#%&!.

£80m won't get them much this year. Would nearly have got them Poggers last year.

Crazy ain't it

It should get them Van Dyke though, who does seem to be a good defender. Along with Matip you'd think that'd go some of the way to sorting their defensive issues out?

He's going to have to do a Matic.

He'll stay for now. One more year and they won't stand in his way next year.

They'll get Van Dijk too.

FSG statement on Philippe Coutinho

LFC

We wish to offer clarity as regards our position on a possible transfer of Philippe Coutinho.

The club’s definitive stance is that no offers for Philippe will be considered and he will remain a member of Liverpool Football Club when the summer window closes.

And why wouldn't he tbf.

He's not good enough for Barca to hang about for a year, they'll move on - he knows this is his last chance. Into the prime of his career, Liverpool or Barca? Tough one
