Smart move from Zidane. Will probably be a major shout for the next big job.

If things go badly for us next year Mou won’t appreciate Zizou lurking. The suits at OT would fancy him for the status.

Smart man.

Probably the only job in the world where you can win three european cups in a row and be odds on for the sack next season. Got out while his stock was still high.

Wonder where he'll go? Allegri to Real, Zidane back to Juve?

£#%&!ing Chelsea will have a vacancy coming up. @#%&!s are always able to get whoever they target.

Not a bad start as manager really. Just the three European Cups.

Would like to see him take over at FC and have to present his playing staff report at the AGM.

I reckon he'll do nothing for a year at least. He just strikes me as the kind of man who wants to chill. But then that's his whole act isn't it. Every word I've just posted is a waste of bandwidth.

Big Emilio Butragueño was quoted earlier as saying Zidane was a reluctant coach in many ways. I don't think club football will be his calling, he's already absolutely nailed it & it's all (way, way) downhill from here for him.

My money is him taking the French job after that absolute hemorrhoid Deschamps bores them out of the World Cup when they should be winning it.

Well Derby’s off the table, so that narrows it down a bit.

Probably retire to some secluded old French country house.

Sit in a hazy field, painting, whilst in his bare feet and wearing a tweed hat.

Bit like Eric but less hairy and mental.

Blanc was a similar character. Cool as anything but deep down not that arsed.

Still, if a big club waves £15m per year under his nose I suspect it’ll tempt.

He's just as likely to flop big time at his next club than succeed IMO.

I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole until he's done a decent job elsewhere.

Fair play to him, he did the impossible, making Real Madrid likeable... that they were playing Liverpool in a European final is of course pure coincidence.
