Does anyone know of any bars that wil show the game at 8.30am?

Near grand central station if possible

Smithfield Hall in Midtown. Great location in the city, and I think it's only about a 25 minute walk from Grand Central. They show EVERY Utd game there, and the atmosphere is really good if you can put up with the American way of it. Beer and Utd in the middle of the greatest city on earth. What's not to love?

Or try the one Siders recommends. NYC has some excellent sports bars, so as long as you find one I'm sure you won't go wrong tbh.

Can confirm I went to Smithfield for derby in September and KO was about 7:30am. Place was absolutely heaving with reds and ale.

Nearly didn't get in through lack of ID iirc.

I got the feeling they ask everybody. In shops I don't think you can buy booze without ID whatever your obvious age.

It is. How old are you? They ID pretty much everybody in NYC upto grandad age.
My mate didn't get ID'd, but then he quite oddly looks like a white Obafemi Martins.
