Timely bump for anyone who hasn't already seen it

Pretty remarkable that he is doing this, when you think about it.

Loads of people with less of an interesting job / history have done them ...

The interviewer on this (city fan) is an obtuse #@&%! by the way, ruins it...

Never met him. my daughter worked at his restaurant while she was a student and says he was nothing other than a complete gentleman all of the time, to everyone, always. Special kind of guy is Rio. Easily have him at Director of football at our place, not a player in the game who doesn't totally respect Rio.

I might get a free meal out of it next time I'm over. One of a hand full of players I like hearing talking playing for utd, totally wasted on those #@&%!s.

He is a top bloke. Met him once in Evolution nightclub in Leeds in 2001, he was with Michael Duberry (who is/was a big £#%&!er). Told him to stop £#%&!ing about and join a proper United. 12 months later he did

Even we used to joke about him not being the brightest tool in the box and all that. If you are trying to insinuate a certain something else then you are out of order tbh.

I was insinuating all sorts. Racism was just one aspect.

I really enjoyed spending a couple of hours watching both of these. Both Rio and Ruud came across very well - knowledgable, intelligent, interesting and humorous. Their love and respect for United was clearly evident. Both had digs at City. I liked Rio’s description of his habits/superstitions on match day, and my favourite bit from Ruud was when he was asked about the Keown incident then this:
Chair: You’ve walked around Oxford today. Did you know that Martin Keown lives in Oxford?
Ruud: I thought you had to be intelligent to live in Oxford
