Could see a revitalised white pele at his real love club, be a great fairytale ending to a remarkable career.

should have been phased out at united years ago when it became obvious building round him was holding back are progression. if that had happened maybe we wouldn't have had such a barren spell (1 league title now in 6 seasons, 2 in 8 seasons) ...

Weirdo, it's all Rooney's fault

4 of those 8 seasons were under fergie ...

as for believe interpreting this as me saying it's all rooney's fault, you couldn't be more wrong - rooney wanted to stay AND somehow managed to bribe the club to make him stay. now that's bordering on £#%&!ing genius!

the issue is that moyes needed him, and van gaal didn't have a clue what to do with him. mourinho has come in and sorted it thank £#%&! but we have clearly lost years because of it. especially when you see that last time we won the league was 5 seasons ago and rooney was being phased out by ferguson to make that happen.

4 of those seasons were under Ferguson, so we won the title twice and lost another one to the last kick of the season in 4 years and nothing since, but our barren run isn't due to managerial changes?

rooney wasn't bad in 10/11 but he only played 2 3rds of the league campaign and was our 3rd top scorer

in 2013 he started even fewer, and although he was 2nd top scorer he had less than half the goals van persie got

so yes, the issue around building the team around rooney pre-dates the managerial changes

That he might go back and finish his career at his boyhood club who he started his career with, in a town he was born where he probably still has a house and all his family lives? For probably a hundred grand a week more than he'll ever need before moving to a country like China for money he'll never need?

Where do you get this info from mate?
