Fred Eyre
Former Man City player on BBC Radio Manchester

"He never took his eye off the ball. He knew he was going to get clattered. I do not think that was a deliberate handball. I am not saying he should have given the goal, but it was not a deliberate handball."

"I am not saying he should have given the goal"

That's exactly what you're saying dumb blue bastard

No he isn't. It was handball, no goal, but not a yellow card.

Only deliberate handball is a foul. So once he blows the whistle he's calling it deliberate handball, so a booking is right.

I cannot express enough how much £#%&!ing despise that suffocating, entertainment-killing brand of football that Guardiola preaches. It's so £#%&!ing tedious to watch, effectively turning the entire half into an attack v defence training session.

Sure obviously if your team are the one doing it effectively, then it must be great because you kill any chance of the other team getting over the half way line. You pressure them to win the ball and if they somehow get past your first line of press, then you just foul them.

Sparky you quoted last Season early on it's the best football ever and the league was done after 6 games

Do Brighton actually think they're going to stay in this division with that team?

Brighton won the league didn't they?

They're absolutely £#%&!ing shite

£#%&!ing hell.

Always going to tire after 60, but one of the worst teams I've seen at this level with the ball.

It's going to be a long season for Brighton. They just don't have any quality at all.
