Ultimately he's a bully and in our fragile, mummy's boys state of a first team squad then he's the type of character we need. I rather a flat track bully than a fair-weather player who only shows up when all is in good nick. We struggle against lower league teams these days. Zlatan would seize the opportunity for a bit of stat padding! FWIW Van Persie's record in CL knockouts is terrible. He's a bit of a bottler, never got fully rid of the Arsenal in him. Flat track bully? Under the right manager Van Persie thrived and the club thrived. Then the manager left and the little boy inside of him got depressed. Zlatan would only be here for one year so no worries about long term. Him under the right manager would kick start this club |
