Watch half the forum mug him off even though he was often key in providing the freedom for Rooney Ronaldo and Tevez to tear teams up.

Cool

Retired with 4 league winners medals, the same as city in their history.

part of the reason the squad is in the state its in.

he was the moment we started accepting and embracing 'average'. making excuses for him. he 'let rooney have freedom'. :roll eyes:
do barcelona have a journeyman in their team....so that messi can have freedom. NO. they have competence in all positions...

paved the way for valencia and other averageness we signed.

Great player that @#%&!s didn't rate because he wasn't playstationing goals in from all angles. Did a fantastic job in some big games and was a model pro. Wish him all the best

You're not allowed squad players at Manchester United. They ALL have to be international superstars happy to spend endless time on the bench or practising 25 yard overhead kicks - people like Butt, Park, Fletcher are just not welcome and simply can't contribute.
