Football Who remembers season 85/86??

We started off with 10 straight wins, were 10 points clear of 2nd place and I think finished 3rd that year 10 points behind the vermin...

What a sickener that season was..!

thats what makes our last 2 decades of dominance over the @#%&!s so much sweeter.....we remember how it felt when it was the other way around and we know how much it hurts and how much they hate it

the youngsters wont appreciate that.....and hope they never have to....thats why we fought the war

Very vaguely. Was the year my old man took me to my first game at OT, the West Brom game I think, was only 4. The season after he took me to a few away's as well, went to Coventry and Everton, if I remember rightly.

and to think i used to judge a season during those times as a sucess if we beat liverpool or having a decent cup run.
cant see me being satisfied with that ever again.
the fa cup was a brilliant competition then too

I prefered the 84/85 season, at least we came away with something, and big norm scoring a mint goal in the final!

We won the first ten games of the season and there was no football on the £#%&!in telly! It came back on just in time for the FA cup 3rd round.
