Januzaj in Van Gaals plans

Januzaj is going up in the pecking order it seems. Well he is getting a new squad number which is a positive move. He`s hardly been mentioned on the forum lately with all these transfer rumours and I`m not sure where he will fit in but he`s certainly better than the dead wood we are shipping out. Probably a replacement for Mata or Herrera off the bench for now.

I don't think he will get many starts. I just finished the LVG book and I can't see how he will fit in with his style of play. It seems it's all about discipline, structure and organisation.

And Januzaj doesn't lack discipline or organisation any more than any other 19 year old winger.

He's talented and he works hard. I'm sure that'll suit lvg just fine.

I feel eventually we will go to a 4-3-3. In his pressers so far LVG has indicated that he is using 3-5-2 as a necessity rather than favoured formation. Get di maria and switch to a 4-3-3 with januzaj. Although I am not sure where that will leave the likes of mata and rooney.
