I'm not a fan of Cavani, but his workrate is one of the best in the business. Players who run their heart out shows how much they can give for the fans. What he didn't show in the chelsea game was that his finishing is first class as well. Definitely better than Rooney. Not better than RVP.

If van Gaal does come in and wants to go 4-3-3 with RvP up top, a decision will have to be made on Rooney pretty sharpish to avoid another season like the last one with him moping about and bitching to the papers all the time.
