Simon Stone saying Utd board back 'Mou Mou' and no interest in Zizou:

In most clubs that of course would usually be the kiss of death but we're a f***ed up shambles so who knows?

Nailed on loss against Spurs next week and an inevitable £#%&! up or two against the titans of Burnley, Watford, Wolves and West Ham in September and they'll change their tune quickly enough I reckon.

Is this the same "full backing" they gave him during the transfer window?

This. They should have thought about this when they were putting bids in for Godin and Sandro (apparently a done deal )

Maybe that would be enough, but as it stands I think they're happy to have him guide us to a top 4 finish. It's cheaper to pay him rather than pay him off. He'll be getting no more players - which saves them even more money.

It's the smart business move at this stage.

Defeats to Spurs and Burnley and I think he'll be gone.

looks like nobody is questioning jose's impending sacking. but the narrative is slipping into absolving him of any responsibility. let's be honest, if he signed willian and maguire it would still be shit.
