Default Wayne Rooney is a Manchester United legend tbh

He has held the squad together this season, other players referring to his speeches before games as inspirational before the liverpool and city wins.

Fair play to the lad after the way things looked in the summer of 2013.

You can see why he has won back so many fans this season. Gonna get the credit he deserves when he becomes our record goalscorer next season with di mazzy and depay running either side of him.

i'd love for him to bag a couple against everton at the weekend.

He hasn't scored since villa, about time he hit form again.

Personally I don't think the lad's that cynical, but others may not see it that way.

If United finish top 4 the lad is off the forum forever.

High price to pay for a thread that quite frankly span out of control.

It's not too late for Saffs to redeem himself and be back snuggled in the ample bosom of Fred for some pre -season transfer bantz.

Nope. Clearly pro-rooney for months now tbh.

And as Rougers says, i'm leaving the forum soon anyway, barring a disaster...

But just gonna quote this post in case you decide to go on another quick-delete trip.

Forgot about that thread, tbh. People should stop posting on it, imo.

Earsy resorting to ironic bumps as we lose gallantly at chelsea.

People lost the point of it ages ago. Not sure anyone other than you actually engaged the argument back at the height of lvg being stubborn either.

Keep the thread though. Will be good bumping material when we win the league next season and the noobs who werent even on here will simpy react to the first post of thread.

A thread i'm proud of and always will be. Nqat. Nft.

How about I propose that bet is null and void, then you'll be able to defend the thread you're proud of on here till kingdom come?

Struggling to remember a chance rooney has made in the last month bar his pass for rvp v newcastle.

He is a passenger but guaranteed 90 mins every_damn_week.

@maggers and jem

When has rooney ever carried the team? He gets a few tap ins playing as an attacking mid(a role he is useless at) and all of a sudden he is a talisman.

He has no discipline,...

Get the feeling saffers wants to go down with the thread - captain of the ship style - saluting whilst helping others (irk, baron etc) to escape quietly without further fatalities . Admirable Imv - very selfless.

Best performance of the season against a top 6 side. G-d let this be a turning point.

Rafael in for valencia and falcao in for fellaini and it is very close to our best team in a formation people have been crying out for all year.
