Anytime I've seen him he plays as a wing back, not a full back & is miles up the pitch

His current coach is Xabi Alonso - supposed to be doing top work there.

Bit rich coming from him, that. Brilliant player but defending wasn't his strongest suit. Centre-backs should be able to defend too.

What an annoyingly sparse communication this is, by the way. In the old days, this kind of speculation would at least tend to include the player's age, club, position - maybe even his nationaiity, international status, potential fee etc.

I've no idea who the lad is and this tweet gives me no help to imagine if he would be good or not. Bring back Teletext, I say. This tweet is just a fart in our general direction.
