Scholes was fantastic last night. Don't know wether he or Tevez were motm.
Yup, why the need to put down a players performance that was so good and so instrumental in a good win?

FFS - the way you go out of your way to make Scholes look inept or inferior to his opposite numbers is embarrassing.

Its all well and good lauding it when you think hes had a poor game so you should take it on the chin when he pisses all over a point you've tried to make previously.

evra or tevez motm for me, probably evra nicking it when you consiser he was playing an unfamiliar position, but it was great to see tevez fit and raring to go.

scholes was class but he contributed little to attacking moves, very rarerly ventured into pompys half, playing the simple balls in the middle of the park.

No, because his internet persona is more "important" than United.

Anyway, great to see a vintage Ginger Prince performance.

Agree with the first part of that, particularly about Evra, thoufght he was brilliant.

Think Scholes was better than your description but you are entitled to your opinion.

not saying he didnt play well, he did, but i just think he played mostly in our half/around the center circle playing simple stuff, possebon done similar stuff when he came on (how comfortable does he look btw??)

Scholes played in the position he was instructed to play in last night. Pigning the ball all over the hissouse and helping United control the game.
If he moved further forward, which he hasn't done in years, he would have left O'Shea on his own to cover the entire midfield and left back.

tbh last night we could have played just rio and vida at the back and had 8 upfront.

Yeah, to be honest i thought it wasa a virtuoso performanc, like a conductor leading an orchestra. Kept the ball superbly and always found players in space.

Last season, every game we lost (or about 99%of them) Rooney wasn't playing.Yet we all know your thoughts on Rooney dont we?

-today he has a decent game No, he had an excellent game. It's only you that is refusing to accept it.

but in reality he did the job carrick does week in week out and thats forgetting carrick does it on his own and also is always looking to have some attacking influence on the game...
so basically scholes played today what i would say carrick equals everygame.

-we are also comparing him with a wing back who was filling in with him? come on, what natural central midfielder doesnt look good compared to him?

-yes he kept possession well but the best midfielders do the same when doing it in a defensive role. our ball playing midfielders all keep possesion of the ball very well as well(possebon, carrick, anderson) and the only reason carrick and anderson will lose it is while looking for the forward ball which is always a risky option.
so rating someone so higly who had no attacking influence on the game is abt much - Are you saying the defensive midfielders can never get more than a 6/10 rating?

IVE NOT SAID HE DIDNT PLAY WELL- [color="red"]6/10 is a pisstake and you know it.

In all honesty, your thoughts about Scholes just show how little you know about football.Being unable to appreciate a performance like that just shows you up even more.
#@&%!.

Of all the league games we lost last season Scholes started 50%

You may wish to consider you opinion on the following players

Brown started 100%

Ferdinand started 100%

Vidic started 100%

Nani started 75%

Tevez started 75%

Even Evra, Ronaldo and Anderson started 50% of them.

It looks like we need eleven new players
