Is it just me or is something slightly amiss here, seemingly right out of favour out of nowhere?

Was having a good season by his standards, nicking goals etc seemed like the managers first choice….

Fred's biggest problem is that you don't know when the next 3/10 performance is coming though it's never far away. Just about every player in our squad bar Weghorst can contribute something from time to time but we could do worse than prioritise shipping out the ones who's bottom level is Sunday league.

He was preferred to Sabitzer before.

He’s deffo fallen down the pecking order. Seems odd. McT starting a couple ahead of him, for instance.

Fear the worst and looks like he could be gone. Club probably realized he’s the player surplus to requirements who they can make serious money from and want to protect him,

He feels further down the pecking order now than at any point this season.

It's hard not to appreciate Fred's application and honesty - God knows we've seen enough lazy frauds over the past decade - but he has very little game intelligence. For every time he pops up at left back or right wing, there's a little Fred shaped hole where he should be, and his execution, be it pass or shot, is usually way off top team status. Bargain bin Kante - see ya.
