Can supporters of both sides imagine anything more soul destroying than watching a straight race between Michael Owen & Sol Campbell & it meaning something for the season...

If it was a Saturday match probably not but 4pm Sunday, dont see why not. He'll need a month off after though.

If he doesn't start (& I don't think he will) you have to start wondering what the point of him is?? ...Why is he at the Club?
He only plays in home games against mid-table sides. We might as well have bought a £10mill player for that role.

I find it astonishing how little part he plays in the 'big games'

anyway

I want to see:

VDS

Wes (tough one but I think his tackling will be needed)
Evans
Vidic
Evra

Valencia
Fletcher
Carrick
Giggs

Rooney
Berbatov

Though I imagine there will be a 3rd central midfielder in there or SAF may pick Nani on the left with Giggs in front of Carrick/Fletch. (which I wouldnt oppose either)

2-1 United
I'd go with that too, but I don't think Fergie will.

Even with 5 in midfield, everyone should be buzzing and feeling good going into this one.

I want to see us really fly at them.

Agreed.
Arsenal are nothing special at all. Of course Arshavin & Fabregas are quality & will be a threat, but there's no reason why we sholdn't go there & win.
If Rio was available I'd be very confident
..as it is I think it'll be a draw, but we're certainly due a win (& a bit of luck) at the Emirates (in the League obviously)

Can't see Giggs or Scholes starting after playing the full 90 minutes on Wednesday.

Park will play.

I too think it will be a draw, but I fear we simply have to win if we're serious about this title. Chelsea are getting up ahead of steam and we really need to just keep up with them for now. They won there comfortably and really put Arsenal in their place. We must do the same.

Time to make a statement and we couldn't be going into it with confidence any higher, surely?

Agree with all that.
We need to win one of these big games away from OT...we haven't done it in a while. Infact our away form overall might be our undoing this season.

If we win on Sunday it'll be a £#%&!ing huge result.

Wenger's sessions will all have been about facing 4-5-1/ 4-3-3 i'd guess. Let's change it.

Not a bad shout. I wouldn't put it past Fergie, but I can't see anything other than 4-5-1 on Sunday to be honest.
