Default Moscow - Park

Who thinks he's going to start then?

I do think he's a useful player and all and when you think about the games he's started recently it all seems to point to him playing this one.

However - I don't think it would be wise to start him v Chelsea.

Especially if carrick and scholes are the middle two. I want to see hargo in right mid but I cannot see it for some reason.

i think he might start yes...

i kind of want to see a 3 of:

HARGREAVES.....CARRICK.....SCHOLES

with the front 3:

RONALDO....TEVEZ....ROONEY

but i don't even think that Tevez will start

Does part of you lack conviction feeling that way? It does with me. Its like "what more does he need to do to show he's up to it in the big games?"

Its an interesting one imo.

I think it could be the same team that turned them over at Old Trafford

Only Tevez of the new signings has pinned down his place

There's a good chance one of Nani, Hargreaves, Park or Fletcher can force their way in instead of Giggs I suppose - if Scholes is a definate starter. Doubt Anderson will even get on from the bench tbh

who then? Giggs? I'd worry about him with chelsea's energy and power. Nani? I worry about his temprament sometimes, his decision making at stamford bridge was terrible as well.

We may as well just play:

---------------VDS

Brown ----- Rio---- Vidic---- Evra

---Carrick----scholes----hargreaves

Ronaldo----------------tevez

-----------rooney

I think he'll start. I'd guess more or less the team that started at Wigan, but maybe with Hargreaves instead of Tevez in a 451.

VDS
Brown Rio Vidic Evra

Park Hargreaves Scholes Carrick Ronaldo

Rooney

its a tricky one. park is a grafter but i'm not sure he's that effective at unlocking defences. he tends to drag defenders out fro the like of ronnie and rooney to exploit the holes. i'd start with him in the hope that he frustrates them, then bring on the likes of nani and giggs as impact subs.

I don't think it's the right game for him, but I think he'll start. Fergie obviously values what he offers defensively in games like this.

i'd rather have fletcher on than park to be honest.

Ferguson will not start with what he regards as his strongest 11 so Park may well make it.

So would I. And that's no dig at park. Fletcher has become VERY reliable when called upon the past 18 months.

Gorky is the best one, obviously. I went ice skating there once, it was shit though. The skates were about three sizes too big and when I went back to complain the ancient woman behind the counter replied '£#%&! you english'.

Team selection for this one should be a piece of piss...

VDS
Wes
Evra
Rio
Vidic
Carrick
Cougar
Scholes
Ronnie
Tevez
Rooney

PIG
O'Shea/Silvestre/Pique
Anderson
Saha/Welbeck
Park/Nani
Fletcher
Giggs

Sorted.

It won't be though, and I won't complain if Park starts, he has done more than enough to warrant being trusted on such an occasion IMO.

that's what i've gone for ^^^

re subs, o'shea is nailed on (versatility) as is giggs, as is saha, as is fletcher, as is pig - so that's 5... 2 spaces left park and anderson me thinks... (that's what i think saf will do) which means no nani - or he may £#%&! louis off for nani.

Has that team even started before, though?
