FSG may not have any appetite to sack him. All new managers want, and the top ones like Ancelotti and Klopp would expect, to be able to spend money when they take on a new job, especially when they look at that squad. Coutinho, who does £#%&! all except a couple of long range efforts every game, and Jordan £#%&!ing Henderson are their best players

FSG have spent over £400m on players over the past 5 years. Are they really willing to pay up Rodgers contract, pay the money that a big name manager would demand in wages, and then back them in the market?

More likely they'll hope that Rodgers can get it right, or sell up.

Hopefully they'll let him loose one last time in the January window.
Think that's probably the best we can hope for now, he's getting found out more and more each week

Apparently contact has been made with Ancelotti.

Not overly bothered tbh. There's only so much you can do with that shower of shite.

On a scale of one to ten, how desperate would you say you are for us to lose all of those games?

Gerard Houllier had it. Rafa Benitez had it. Roy Hodgson had it before he even took the job. And now Brendan Rodgers must endure it for the foreseeable future.

It is the unedifying cult of the next Liverpool manager being prematurely ordained while the current one fears being devoured in his office.

It'll be Ancelotti. He has the perfect miserable po-faced dour expression to carry out official LFC grieving duties.

Big Kloppers, erm.... doesn't.
