Default De Gea rejects contract offer

Out of contract in the summer.

Has reportedly rejected the offer from United (knowing he has to take a pay cut) but wants to stay at the club apparently.

Delighted for dunk.

It's mad that someone is actually putting some thought into contract renewals after all these years.

It`s a set up! You want to go back to Spain. We drop your wages. You say no. We won`t budge. You leave. Everything looks clean!

Odd one to be offering a new contract to a keeper so obviously shit when there’s so many better alternatives out there? Sounds like this is Arnold rather than Erik. Must be.

Erik must surely be able to see what so many on here can?

Yes, that's why they only offered him two or three bags a month

Aahh. Presumed it was some kind of inner city Somerset or Hertfordshire gangster speak or wherever Sapien’s from. Gritty as £#%&! down there - school of hard knocks stuff.

Tbf to sapers I think he was mocking marlo, who, on another thread, dismissed anyone who received a monthly salary of “2 or 3 bags” as unworthy of his attention

https://www.utdforum.com/forum/showp...&postcount=106

Marls spends more than 3 bags on a bag

It’s getting confusing now

now we will have the transition of a new keeper, making clangers and their confidence shot to pieces but we would have had to do it sooner or later. DDG has been a great keeper for us, I know he hasnt evolved into the sweeper keeper but he has saved our bacon countless times

Got to be a little embarrassed every time his wages are published and he’s one of the top earners in the world. £#%&!ing Woodwood.

Should pro rata his wages back to make up for it.

Offer him 50k basic, then 5 grand per pass that doesn't sail directly into the crowd.

Hopefully get the big man tied down to a new contract in the same way we've locked down L-Sheezy.

Both are integral parts of the back 5 unit that Ten Hag will build his great United side upon. #DaveSaves #DaveStays

One of the best keepers we've ever had. Who will we buy instead?
