Default jesse lingard.

scored for Brighton today.

7th goal in the championship for him this season.

the new cleverley or is he actually very good?

I personally believe he is much more talented and confident than Cleverley but then I remember rating that @#%&! much higher than I do now.

could be out of contract in the summer.

not cleverley, Lingard. :shakehead:

What does he actually do? Seems to have a decent eye for goal but is he an attacking midfielder, striker, winger, what's his strong suit?

Four of those seven goals came in one game. His first.

I think he has a very good chance of making it

Certainly better than the likes if Young and Valencia

plays notionally on the left but floats inside.

like you said, lad has a cracking shot.

some of his goals last summer were albeit against Asian pub teams.

his passing in and around the box is better than young, Valencia, cleverley etc but that isn't difficult of course.

don't think he's world class but a good player and worth keeping over much of the shite we have.

Young shouldn't have been shit. He can run with the ball, he can shoot. He just doesn't because he's a @#%&!.

He's doing ok. Played better on loan at Bham I think, scored 4 on his debut

Though he was good on our pre season tour.

Ive watched all his games so far for brighton , and I can tel you every game I think to myself there's no way this lad will cut it at united. He spends most of the game on the floor, he's just not strong enough, gets bullied alot.
although saying that he has scored on his last two games so mabie we havent seen the best of him yet.

if he scores the winner in tne play offs il prob change my mind

His best chance to make it was this season, we needed some one with an eye for goal from midfield and he wasn't even considered by moyes. Shocking , lo

I suppose if he was at united playing in a quicker passing team (not the current united, brighton probably play the ball quicker ) he would receive the ball in more space and therefore his lack of physical presence wouldn't be such an issue.

or maybe i'm just deluded.
