Default Paddy McNair

word from the papers is that LVG is considering drafting this unstoppable young stallion in from the U-21s for the west ham game.

any ITK top reds know of his virtues? his very name reeks of 'manchester united identity'.

He's from Northern Ireland. Word is his great-grandad worked in the shipyards on a really big boat.

He came to the club as a number 10 but got moved back and converted into a centre half

Not done bad there but he isn't even the best centre half in the Under 21s

He's living the dream, fair play to the lad, two games on the trot.

Looked very calm and composed which is half the battle for an inexperienced player. Can only think of one situation where he got caught out a little and it only led to a half chance for Lukaku.

Think his positioning and reading of crosses is excellent. If he continues to feature over the next few months I think it will definitely see the end of either Smalling or Evans or both if we bring one in as well.

Feel more confident with McNair or Blackett at CB than I do with Smalling, Jones or Evans.
