Default We should put a bid in for Bentley

Now we're not signing Berbatov, we should bid for Bentley. I know he's a different type of player but it would really £#%&! Levy off to see the price go up because he's playing hard ball with us.

Maybe we could offer Rooney and Ronaldo to Spurs in exchange for Darren Bent, then at the last minute say we were only messing. That would probably really piss him off too.

Bently to Totenham Releasing berbs to united.

Taken from BBC.

Quote:
Blackburn Rovers have confirmed they are in negotiations with Tottenham over the possible sale of David Bentley.

But chairman John Williams has told BBC Radio Lancashire the club have yet to accept a bid for the England winger.

Bentley, 23, has made no secret of his desire to quit Ewood Park despite only signing a contract extension in 2007.

Blackburn have already rejected bids from Tottenham and Aston Villa for Bentley who is expected to cost buying clubs in the region of £17m.

Spurs will be looking to strengthen their attack after the sale of influential striker Robbie Keane to Liverpool - a move which could see the club receive a total of £20.3m in transfer fees.
There i quoted it.

Its fact. BBC dont lie

Default Toilet - thats a great shout

Bentley would add loads - a hunter of a win ala Rooney O' Eldineo.

Sometimes winners aren’t always the strongest, the fastest or the most technically able - it’s a head thing - and I think this lad has it

How does that work?

If you said Santa Cruz instead of Bentely it would make sense.

Tottenham have sold Defoe and Keane, leaving them with Berbatov and Bent. I can't see them letting another one go without bringing a striker in.

Very clever.

Until Blackburn accept our bid that is!

What do we do then? Take the phone off the hook?
