Would have sailed that group without the injured tbf.

But it’s certainly been a dramatic rise. Nqat.

Was thinking how this season might've panned out had Jose been facing October to February with as many as 10 first teamers out the majority of the time..

Probably helped that he does do double training sessions and run them into the ground then.

Given the spiel Mou is selling about how impossible it is to work with this squad, even given his own highly expensive acquisitions, we might have to re-evaluate LVG. How did he manage to win a cup and finish a heady 5th with such a pile of shit?

Well maybe he shouldn't have signed them all then?

A massively inferior pile of shit with a 3 month injury crisis during the busiest period..

Undoubtedly. Nevertheless the Squad was better than he performed and the same is true for Mou.

The charge is the same, not getting enough out of what they have. Mou has gotten better results with better players, Van Gaal's squad was a mess (in part his fault) but it should have been enough to place higher than 5th when Leicester are winning it at a canter.

Obviously I knew we were never far away from re-writing history re van gaal given our current woes. It seems to be something people have done on here almost constantly.

A pretty grim nadir was midgetland, players looking vacant at the end of the match, the manager looking perma confused and our fans singing ‘why the £#%&! are we so shit?’

More like 10-15, pal.

United were statistically a top two side in the first third of 15/16. And statistically a top two side in the last third.

Said a lot about how hated LvG was that lots of people genuinely ignored the 15-man injury list when our season went off the boil.

Why do we think that? What evidence is there for it?
