Doing wonders for Giggs' managerial credentials. If he was doing well we wouldn't £#%&!ing hear the end of it.

That's the point. Neville should be ahead of Giggs, yet you wouldn't have him anywhere near the job. He made the mistake of actually going out and trying to learn. Should have stayed at United and Fergie would now be pushing for him to get the united job ahead of one of the most accomplished managers of the past 15 years.

If Fergie wanted someone with United connections for political reasons, solskjaer would be my choice.

get the £#%&! over the neville and giggs comparison ffs, there is no comparison with their situations...

and while you're at it just try and imagine for a minute that the only real political agenda is the one in your head, and that united, whilst acutely aware of the militant () 'moaning like £#%&! about everything and thinking they could run the club better themselves' element amongst the support historically, their task is to juggle the need to compete at the top and the need to satisfy the support with the best plan to maintain united's traditions on the pitch by bringing youth through and playing exciting football... give it a whirl, you might surprise yourself when you realise how limited your view on it presents.

off at the end of the season by the looks of it. doesn't think he's 'earned' a new contract.

on the same subject, anyone seen pure recently...or should that be el pure?

The chants were widespread on Sunday and at Valencia’s Paterna training ground the following morning two supporters waited with a banner that read “Gary resign” in English.

As long as he finishes every line he spouts with "but then, what the £#%&! would I know" he'll be fine.

Bit of a shame if he's packed it in and chosen to take the cushy job for life. The Valencia gig was destined to fail - he shouldn't have gone abroad. But for that reason it may not be a true reflection of him as a coach.

I doubt Sky have taken him back if they know he'd be £#%&!ing off when sacking season starts and jobs are available.
