that was arguably their worst team in 40 years as well. They certainly haven't had a worse one since.

But again i go back to my post - there's a level of professionalism and pride that comes into it where you simply won't allow yourselves to be turned over like that.

the character and personality of this united side is absolutely £#%&!ing pathetic at times.
Bloody good job it’s Saturday night

Same with Casemiro instantly being booked the minute he makes a foul despite other players being let off all the time...or being sent off for grabbing that albino at Palace by the neck when others do it and nothing happens.

"it's manchester united, we've got to do something because otherwise the media will hammer us"
Correct

Been saying absolutely this for years

if you don't count the diving, niggly fouls, goals after full time and not giving the ball back when the game stops for their injury with forest in possession.

£#%&! me, the motd graphics are shit.

I wonder if Liverpool will want the game replaying. Only fair and right.

I should be over it after 30 years but no, I’m not, £#%&! off.
That was literally their "cup final".

A week or two later they went out to Bristol City in the actual cup and Souness got the sack.

If anything, that makes it worse.

And it didn’t need to be worse.

If this was the other way around, the referee would've already apologised and Liverpool would be guaranteed 6 penalties in their next 3 games.

Yeah think the fact that result happened under Erik is why I can't feel the same level of support towards him as others

what, indeed?

I mean.. in the liverpool game, there were meant to be 8 mins of time added on. after 8 mins, the score was 0-0. even allowing for the fact that forest should have had the ball, the game should have been over.
