He is at his best in the inside left channel either shooting or darting in such as his goals against Stoke this season and last and coming in from the left to put Everton to bed in the cup.

Just because he is not an orthodox winger doesn't mean he is better as a number 9.

I don't rate his hold up play as a striker. I have bad memories of him being bullied all over the shop at anfield in the Europa.
