I was watching that game yesterday as it was the only one on here. Thought bayern were terrific to watch, ten men or not. Even with robben limping off in the first half.

Boring or not, pep is true to his way and if given great players his way works well. Don't know how you could be against him coming to united and be serious. Contract ends next year....

I think pep would love to manage a team with herrera, mata, rooney, januzaj , rvp, falcao and adm. Sure there'd be no talk of needing 3 weeks, then 3 months and then a whole season to get a philosophy going.

'Smalling appears to blatantly pull down Ivanovic in the penalty area as the free-kick is taken'

Great to see pep has got Bayern back to the standard they were at before he took the job.

And in his first, sorry, second season.

Good work. UEFA usually do everything they can to keep that information secret and very hard to obtain.

Who said he was shit? This is why you're constantly ridiculed. You change the context to suit a fixed point of view.

Try giving something else a go. Football is not that hard to understand but its not for you.

You were spot on with 'context' when you were comparing Pep's league & cup double success to Van gaal's struggle here to get 4th place and something resembling not total shit football.

You really should get out of Ireland fuzzy and see the world.

Wrong again. Pep acquired an absolutely fantastic side that had won the European cup. They didn't achieve that standard in Pep's first season.
In his second season they've probably hit that level again.

It took him time.

He had far better side to work with.

Lvg took over a side that was a shambles and had finished 7th.

You need be stupid not to understand that.

Have you taken an interest in football late in your life? Because you're totally clueless.

They were equally fantastic last season fuzzers. Many on here were raving about them. There is not much difference between league + cup + CL and league + cup + CL semi's, just 2 more matches of very high level.

They just caught Real on a bad day and couldn't cope with the counter attacking football too. They have adapted better this season but not sure they are much better than last season.

I think both real and barca can knock them out over 2 legs.

Does LVG need to win the league this year to be hailed as messiah? No. But did he need to make more of the existing team + 150m thrown on top of it? Yes. Do united need to play better football? Yes. Has LVG failed this year? So far, yes. He didn't have a team good enough to be in top 2, but we should have been comfortably in 3rd position especially with all other teams being so shit.

You did be incredibly stupid to say that LVG has made most of what he has this year. But then I think you really are stupid. Or consumed by top redness that you can't seem to take criticism of LVG.
