it's nonsense. conceding few goals is not a sign of being set up defensively, it is a sign of having a good defence (and teams missing a lot of chances, tbf). likewise, not scoring is not a sign of being set up to defend; it is a sign of being incompetent and disorganised in attack. there is no way anyone can say this team is set up defensively (and be taken seriously). soz. the lack of balance in the team is clear - there is big hole in the middle and too many attacking players who don't really know what to do.

we did not fail to score against bournemouth because we were set up to defend. we had loads of the ball in the final third. we did £#%&! all with it.
