honestly, as you've said, him and mct are only really getting praise because everyone else has basically been absolutely shit. it's not like they've become great players overnight. they haven't hidden though.
This will get bttt on Sunday after City give us our annual humbling against them I’m sure.

the club is in a never-ending curse
as if the takeover shit wasn't enough, we now have maguire playing well, getting 'player' of the match, and getting plaudits
absolutely cursed

Great stuff, we might get a decent fee for him in January now

Fair play to him. Was decent tonight apart from a 1st half howler that he wasn’t totally responsible for.

No one else is scoring for us atm apart from the united lepers.

As if we have the sense to offload players when their stock is high. Should have binned Rashford in the summer.

Another one of the whipping boys stands up at a key moment.

Probably won't last and it won't change the fact he's not really that good, but fair play to him for not being a £#%&!ing characterless shithouse like some of his team mates.

So he wanted to stay and fight for his place now according to the ‘experts’ on sky, TNT, talksport, twitter etc

No… he didn’t want to take a pay cut and we wouldn’t pay the money he wanted/was owed () to make up the difference.

if only Sancho could adopt the same attitude.

Good example of someone who got his head down and worked himself back into the team. Obviously slab isn’t good enough and I hope he is binned in the summer, but it’s almost like if you work hard and take your chances (and have a mini injury crisis at the back) you will get starts
