The build up to this final in the media is absolutely ridiculous. You'd think that Newcastle are some plucky band of non-league underdogs that's upset the odds to reach a league cup final

They're bankrolled by one of the richest states in the world and have spent 300 million quid since last January for christ's sake.

It's going to be tough, especially with the game Thursday but I think Ten Hag has done very well with how he has used the squad. We should still beat them.

Really nervous about this one. It’s “only” the league cup, but it’s absolutely vital we win it imo. Can’t be going six years without a trophy. A win would be massive for the confidence and progress of this lot.

And I don’t want a lost final to Newcastle by our names.

I think it’ll be tough, but there’s also part of me that thinks the occasion will get to Newcastle. Especially with a third choice keeper.

Is Ten Hag playing games or is Rashers a big doubt? That`s the only thing I`m nervous about. If he plays and is fit we win. Simples
