Gerrard/Lampard/ Scholes arguments have been happening for years. Hence 'part of the conversation'. Whether you think it's a valid conversation is another point altogether. Point is that the sheer output of what Lampard has done has put him in conversations like that with players who are more talented than him.

Erm, in the same time that Bruno has been playing for United as pogba, what has pogba achieved? Atleast Bruno came in with goals and assists to propel them to 2nd in that season with ole .

No, that's what Manchester United achieved. I didn't say 'achievements', I said 'Contributions'. The distinction being that with an 'achievement' a player could simply hide behind that accolade, with no indication of what they actually contributed. Like your much cited World Cup win.

Goals against top teams? Vague. Which teams? The 'big six'? I can recall the famous 2 versus city and one in the cup against Chelsea. Have i missed any? Can't recall any v spurs or liverpool. is that 3 in 6 years? Hardly anything to brag about.

Meanwhile, I can think of Bruno goals v Arsenal, 2 v liverpool and a few pens against Spurs and city.

Not to mention more goals and more assists in less than half the time, but I suppose those things don't matter

Both players have been part of a very disappointing phase for United, but Bruno has contributed more.

This also seems like as good a time as any to point out that I don't know who Russell Westbrook is.
