They’ll miss him more than Salah.

He’ll stay. He said he was staying about 2 days ago. They’ll agree he can go for free the year after.

Salah is staying and leaving on a free.

Manes gone, it was obvious once he said he would speak after the final. If youre going nowhere you dont need to delay speaking.

bayern a weird choice, maybe he just wants to escape Klopp and co at all costs.

Probably wants to play for a top tier club.

Surprised their fans arent more annoyed at their owners over this. Clearly unwilling to pay the going rate wages for the likes of Salah and Mane, so now they're gonna lose them both for £32m total.

Bundesliga is dry though. But guaranteed league title.

Theyve not managed this well.

Once Klopp goes theyll be completely finished.

If they hire Gerrard we are going to have some fun years in store.

They knew Mane was going and bought Diaz to replace him.

They’re doing the right thing not giving them daft money imo, all giving 29/30 year old players massive new deals does is increase everyone else’s wage expectations, better to let them go and get the next ones in.

I’d flog Salah to the highest bidder this summer too tbh.

Sánchez £#%&!ing ruined everything that @#%&!. Then everyone wanted parity and it became an arms race.

Perfect example. De Gea is another one. The panic at the prospect of having to replace him led to a quite ridiculous deal and we’ve no chance of getting rid.

You can’t be afraid to lose players ffs. You should constantly be primed to replace anyone in the squad.

Tbf this will be the best outcome imo

They always seem to sell at the right time and get good money for their players allowing them to replace with better or equal players.

With Salah staying and most likely going on a free, if the likes of Mane, VVD, Matip, Fabinho, Firmino all do the same then they’ll struggle to rebuild imo.

Is this how it works these days? Players under contract just rocking up and telling the club they’re Frank Bough.

agree - his physicality is what makes him their most irreplaceable player imo.

It used to be that way. They called it handing in a written transfer request.
Difference is with that is that it meant you gave up any entitlement to a contract pay off but were free to go if the new club paid the required transfer fee.

Nowadays shithouse agents use the press to make the player's position at the club untenable - a bit of bad press but several millions in contract settlement later sees their player at a new club.

Well, one is tall-ish and Spanish and the other is short and Chilean, so no shit Sherlock.

I saw over the weekend that we had a deal lined up for Mane at the behest of LvG and Mou vetoed it because he wanted Pogba..
