I'd be careful posting this if I was you.

Given reems shocking admission earlier this week, it could be viewed as incitement.

You might be up on a murder charge soon pal.

Me dad always tells me about being at a game in the early 70's and Bobby was having a bit of a stinker and some fella was having a bit of a pop. An old woman behind started hitting him with an umbrella shouting "You leave maaaaaa Bobby alone"

Not the greatest tackler or header of a ball.

An absolute rocket in either foot, great footballing brain and one of the best passers of a ball I have ever seen.

The King and George appealed more to the younger element in our support but Charlton is a United legend.

That's ace.

My father-in-law, who has no axe to grind either way re United, is a huge fan of "Meester Charlton" - "better than that alcoholic Irishman or the Argie cheat" he says. The racist bastard.

Moore (a fine player) always gets the credit for England’s World Cup win, but it was our Bobby more than anyone else that was responsible for England winning it. He had a magnificent tournament. His role in the victory is always down played in this country, which is pretty scandalous.

England hasn't produced a better footballer since Sir Bobby imo.

watching that video you can see what a modern player he was, such an all-round talent. he would walk into any team, probably captain it as well.

The word Legend get's handed out to players too often, but he really is a Legend.

Great vid

edit* Just to add that I love that goal in front of the Kop where Bestie plays that little reverse pass to him & he drives it like a £#%&!ing arrow into the far corner ...& I love his reaction to the Moscow win!..never seen that before. I loved how humble he was when he lead the team up to pick up the Trophy that night...I cried like a baby tbh
