The desperation, if you want to call it that*, comes from the fact people think it was a good performance and the performances that followed it.

*it isn’t, it’s pure observation.

The performances at Watford & Arsenal were excellent, the following ones not so good. If you focused on the actual poor performances it wouldn’t look so desperate.

They £#%&!ing weren’t seem to recall we damn near threw away a 3 goal lead at Watford We were uncomposed toss at Arsenal, their defence was laughable though.

Just because we win doesn’t make it an excellent performance.

Just like the Arsenal game we quickly restored the 2 goal lead . You seem unhappy when we don’t score & unhappy when we out score the opposition. We are 2nd & have our best points & goal tally since SAF retired. We are a work in progress. I am not happy with everything but I certainly won’t moan about beating Arsenal 3-1 away

It’s unfortunate that arsenal couldn’t hang on to their lead at 3-2. Oh well.

Must be Mourinho’s fault imo

Wouldn't say it's unfortunate, quite the opposite from out pov. Does highlight their defensive ineptitude though.. even worse than the dippers, who we have managed 1 goal against in the last 3 games..

"It was the night before christmas and all through the house
not a creature was stirring except for Dunk's mouse

The kids were asleep and the candles alight
as he frantically filled up the forum with shite

The wife was asleep, as were the dogs
As dunk minced about in his louis mask and clogs

"For a treat this year, not a book by roald dahl
I'll come down the chimney dressed as Louis Van Gaal!"
