Get rid ffs, he's well over-rated and his form will only go down if we keep hold of him and then he'll either be worth less or he'll walk away on a free down the line.
You're such a £#%&!ing #@&%!

How does it feel being a moralistic 'affordable' football team yet your best player £#%&!s-off for more coin?

Didn't he play for you from the start? He obviously didn't 'get' what you are all about did he?

Talking shit? Probably but then again I dont go on an FC forum spouting shit

Think about it

Daniel Taylor's hardly anti-United.
Maybe Taylor wishes he'd waited a little before writing all that shit about Ferguson being ''concerned'' about Anderson, eh?

God forbid this supposedly pro-united, ''red'' journalist would allow a 19 year old Brazilian in a new country, new language, coming back from a broken leg with no pre-season, some time to settle

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2...wsstory.sport4

Quote:
Anderson, Manchester United's £17m summer recruit, may come with a big reputation and an even bigger price tag, but the Brazilian is facing a prolonged spell in the reserves after an unflattering start to life with his new club.

Sir Alex Ferguson had angry words with the entire team after Wednesday's Carling Cup defeat at home to Coventry City, but he was particularly aggrieved about Anderson's ineffectual display and is concerned at how the new arrival is struggling to make a favourable impression.

Ferguson made it clear from the outset that he did not expect the 19-year-old to acclimatise straight away to life in a new country and that he was signed, in effect, with the long-term intention of him taking over from Paul Scholes, who will be 33 in November. None the less, Ferguson is entitled to be dismayed that his expensive recruit has been unable to make a positive impact in his first four months at Old Trafford.

Anderson suffered the ignominy of being substituted at half-time in his only Premier League appearance, the 1-0 victory over Sunderland on September 1, but Ferguson expected the attacking midfielder to play an important role in the experimental and youthful side he chose against Coventry. Instead, Anderson was one of the weaker players, often off the pace and, most disappointingly for his manager, showing little desire.

Ferguson admitted being "flabbergasted" and "shocked" by the performance of his players after Coventry won 2-0. Even stronger words were used in the dressing room and Anderson was not spared from the harshest criticism.

While not singling out Anderson, United's captain for the night, John O'Shea, clearly had the Brazilian in mind when he said: "The lads know they should have done better. For some reason, the technique and ability we know these young players have just wasn't there, which was a big disappointment."

In mitigation, Anderson has not been helped by a pre-season hamstring injury, but it has been made clear to Ferguson that the teenager may need a longer bedding-in period than had initially been anticipated. Ferguson has told his colleagues it may be a year before the player, a full Brazil international, is ready to seriously challenge for a first-team place, an astonishing admission given the amount of money it took to sign him from Porto.

Anderson is having English lessons to help him adapt to life in Manchester but he did himself no favours with Ferguson when, along with Nani and Cristiano Ronaldo, he allegedly employed the services of an escort agency and became the victim of a kiss-and-tell story in the tabloids. All three players have been reprimanded and reminded of their responsibility to avoid bad publicity.
Top red.

That story is probably complete bullshit.

Regardless, it's gone too far now, there is no coming back for him in my opinion. If he seriously thinks that going to play under the mighty Bernt Schuster with the youthful exuberance of Raul, Guti, Cannavaro and Ruud is a step up, then let's go and let him find out. One thing is for certain, at some point next season when they are out of the champions league and sitting 3rd in la liga he will look back and think what the £#%&! have I done here. If he doesn't think that and his happy with 200k a week and his sun-tan, then in 2 years time he will be getting linked with City and LA Galaxy as well.

A bitter end really, I don't want to see him in a United shirt again. File under Ruud, Beckham, Stam etc- 'united legends who never quite made it'

The press have been waitig since 2006 for this, they failed to get Ronaldo kicked out of the country and have had to sit bac and watch as he, and United, went from strength to strength.

Now, as arrogance goes, there is none more arrogant the English Media and it was only a matter of time before they spied the opportunity to attack and finally push him out of the country.

There have been articles along these lines knocking about since the first mooted interest of Madrid, and the press have done everything they can to hype the situation and discredit Ronaldo in an attempt to dis-associate the United fans from him, therefore making his position untenable, forcing United to sell him.

It is the press that are doing that, not Ronaldo.

Although he has acted the @#%&!, and egged everyone on, he has never once said anything derogatory about United, never said that he won't play for us again and, tbh, seems to acknowledge that he will probably be here next season.

The press want him out, they want to flex their muscles, as they did with Eriksson and show how powerful they are.

I £#%&!ing hate the press. £#%&!ers to a man.

I don't want journalists to be top reds, or even reds, just to report facts. I'd be happy if everything that was reported was fact rather than guesswork.

the original report I would say looks like it's probably based on fact but coloured a bit.

it's all irrelevant though, he's been a superstar for us but if he wants to go we have to let him, providing we get the right coinage

then get that barca banner made ready for when he comes back with madrid and hurts us, 'we hate you so much because we loved you so much'

personally I don't think he's that kind of lad, look at how he reacted when scoring against sporting. he probably does love united, he's had great times here, knows he is adored by the fans, but still wants to realise his dream.

If the weather was like spain I still think this issue wouldn't have arisen

get rid asap. it's already overshadowed our summer, get some cash in and go shopping. we'll get over it - £#%&! me, i think the clubs overcome a bit more than losing great players.

get people in who want to play for the shirt, it's not that difficult.

There's some £#%&!ing heads in the sand on here.

Whatever the tittle-tattle, Ronaldo wants to leave United for Madrid. As he has said, it's his choice/dream/wish/desire.

I'm really not interested in any other story, true or not, that tries it's best to villify him.Him wanting to leave the club is villification enough for me.

And I'm just glad that this isn't Rooney wanting to leave.I've always said, he's our most important player.

woah, who said he got away with it? the worrying thing is that he thinks he can act like a @#%&! with rooney. i'd have expected dwayne to slap the @#%&! for embarrassing him- again.

as you know, everything is kept in house at our place. I know at least 1 ginger team mate who doesn't suffer gobshites.

Makes you wonder who exactly keane was talking about when he left.......

personally (if this story is true) i will take great pleasure in seeing his demise in madrid. united have honest pro's at the club. Giggs, gary, scholes, wes, rooney, vidic, park, hargreaves, carrick etc, etc.

madrid have egos, egos that match ronaldo's and i should imagine there will be a certain amount of friction in the dressingroom to begin with.especially if his wages are as high as reported. we may have seen the best of him here which, considering his brilliance, seems a ridiculous thing to say.

If we made Ronaldo stay do you not think he'd be as committed as always?

He hates losing, this Madrid desire hasn't surfaced out of nowhere, he would have been playing with it ever since he came here, except every year its become a more realistic goal, but his performances have still improved every year.

If he stays, there's a lot he can focus on. Winning the league 3 times in a row and winning a back to back CL. Also probably got the world player of the year award to look forward too as well. All that while playing football in a team built to suit him.

It also gives us a year to plan ahead for when he goes.

Not sure you can claim anyone is more important than the others out of Rio, Rooney & Ronaldo tbh.

We obviously suffer without Rooney, Rio has been tremendous in the big games & holds the backline together, and Ronaldo is a brilliant outlet for us, not to mention scoring 42 goals from all over the pitch.
