United trial Swedish starlet

Manchester United have handed a trial to Swedish starlet Linus Sjoberg.
The 15-year-old midfielder is currently with Vasteras but he has been spotted by United's Scandinavian scouting network.
The Premier League champions have now made an offer and Sjoberg is expected to link up with United on trial later this summer.
"You have to be cautious dealing with the social and footballing parts as the social environment is important when you are younger," agent Martin Klette told Fotbollskanalen.
"There are both good and bad foreign clubs as there are good and bad Swedish clubs.
"People have a tendency to focus on younger players that have had problems abroad and forget that there are very good clubs to grow in abroad."

Yep, 'cos the club are just looking to sign players for the youth team and aren't bothering with the first team

Berbatov will be player of the season. Now Ronaldo has gone we won't have a team geared towards Ronaldo, Berbatov will be given license to influence games and will be brilliant. Him and Rooney will be a very good strike force.

Dunno actually. Berbatov's a possibility for me too as, on limited pre-season evidence, is Valencia.

I dunno about the latter point, I think we had more problems in that match than just his not playing. I do think we've decent options in midfield, I would like a more attacking option though to add to it, Silva basically.
