Dont get it. Overall he's been solid at left-back for us. Great attitude/mentality, doesnt sulk. Mourinho trusts him. Great squad player to have
Of course there is. If Evra put that performance in back in the day it would be all shades briefs and dead mans shoes people always try to find a way to discredit Young.

Not seen anything but glowing praise for Young's performance yesterday, even from those that don't like him.

His problem is that he's an example of us buying squad level players to be used in the first team, and on high wages, whilst other clubs were buying match winners.

He's part of this phenomenon where an average/ mediocre group of players have enjoyed a long spell playing in what should be the hardest team in the country to get into, with virtually no competition, and no repercussions for failure

The last of Fergie's established wing purchases turning out to be fullbacks as there's far less pressure on them to win games for us ...

Credit for the good performance but it doesn't replace the fact that his signing was not the best one and, along with others, signalled the club's lack of ambition.

None of which, is the point. He has been consistently good despite a bit of a dip after his injury. People need to look at his performances rather than the label which he came with. Playing better now than any time under Ferie. Has certainly out performed Pogba and half a dozen others.

Best players the other day : Young, Smalling, McTom, Rommers.

Scapegoats rule.

Love Young's attitude and he has had some great games this season but this is true. There is a lot of talk about the 'shit@#%&!s' but other than Darmian and Fellani there is no-one I don't think is worth a squad place for the cups/league bankers, the issue is we lack too many first team players. In defence there's only Bailly who I would be confident in for a big game away from home and our midfield options are a mess, can't think of a single partnership between them.
