Yeah, none of it is especially eye catching, but it’s stuff that critical to how we want to play and what most our other midfielders don’t/can’t do.

He kept things going as we pushed on for a winner too. A few times he was picking the ball up around 30 yards from goal and moving it quickly out wide. Reading the tempo well and that need to maintain urgency. Just looks a class player who reads the game so well. He needs to start most weeks and I think he will from here. He’s making himself crucial.

The little pass he makes to Garnacho in the build-up to the second goal is very Scholes-like. Doesn't seem much but very few players play that pass.

Has fantastic composure, which makes the game look easy.

One of those players that some people might look at and think he's not doing that much, but take him out of the team and it's apparent that he's does many other top players aren't able to do.

He’ll get better and better too.

I’m looking forward to him playing alongside Casemiro.

He’s the white Declan Rice.

He has that rare ability to be in the right place at the right time and understands what options he has. Similar to Casimero would be great to have them together.

Doesn't need to huff and puff.

We have miles more control with him on the pitch. Being able to have that sort of influence on performances at his age is phenomenal whichever way you want to look at it.

I do like how the manager trusts the young players I have no doubt under other managers, he'd be playing as a right back or out wide until he gets his legs.

I'm not sure he meant that.

Top boy

The master of doing the simple things consistently well
The mark of a top player which is the exact opposite of all our supposed top class players

Will only get better once we get a good team around him
