Ashton get gates of 100. Don't know how they survived at our level, let alone yours. Who beat you today?

Boston. We were beating Ashton 3-1 after an hour on Tuesday. Lost 4-3.

Anyone can lose games and I wouldn’t normally be pushing the panic button 3 games in but it’s clear we’re just not good enough. We’ve been outclassed in every game. When Boston comprehensively outplay you, you’ve got problems. Alty away Tuesday and Chester away Saturday. Lose those and I’m afraid it’s time for a change.

Yep, seems fairly obvious already that the squad doesn't have the quality to compete at this level this season.

The team and the performance at Stockport last Saturday looked the worst we've ever seen at FC, even when they were in the NWCL, and it's been almost as bad in the last two home games.

Have a lot of sympathy for Tom - he's obviously severely constrained financially - but the strategy of trying to blend raw youth with older journeymen just doesn't look like it's going to work.

Tom Greaves has just resigned as player manager, saying the job came too soon for him, and he’s out of his comfort zone with too
much pressure trying to combine his business, young family and FC.

Brave and honest decision by a top bloke.

Wish him well, but no idea where we go from here manager-wise..?

Smart money's on Richie Wellens.

I'm hearing Dave Chadwick as interim manager.
