welcome to utd 2.0, although tbf the renters always seem to get the rub of the green down there, absolutely despise that club, the fans, everything about them

Yes there was. 4 is standard theses days and we were time-wasting that rashford injury took ages.

Did you used to think this when we got 95th minute winners in the 90s.

more importantly...

It doesn't matter. Get on with it. We couldn't defend properly or counter attack properly.

If we're quibbling over 94 or 96 minutes of a game, it doesn't reflect well on our ability to hold a lead.

This. Keep it in the corner FFS.

How many times did Lukaku, Pogba or Sanchez backheel it out of play or to the opposition.

I don't get why we don't press from the start. So often we are behind when we start running and pushing up the pitch and almost like magic we start playing better.

We showed very good spirit in the second half. If we play like that more regularly we wouldn't be so unenthused with United but I've been saying that for the best part of two years.

We have the players to get on the front foot of games.

The better team in the second half, in our bogey fixture.

A win would not have flattered us at all.

Definitely.

As our performances go, that was obviously one of our better ones..... but we still play in patches. As do our individuals: Mata, Matic and Lukaku ranged from awful to very good and back again in that game.

The biggest plus is Martial looking like the real deal again and how the players do seem to be playing for Jose.

Our problems don't just magically go away though.

I thought Smalling did alright, it was that Swedish turd that was the problem, the guy is afraid of his own shadow... Should have never brought Sanchez on, should have stuck with Martial who would have been a bigger threat on the break, with the cockney @#%&!s looking for an equalizer..........

Need to bring on a player to hold the ball up, see the game out for a great win? Yeah, that might not be Sanchez.

None of this matters unless it serves as a catalyst for change. If we revert to Brighton and West Ham then who cares what the incidents were? If it’s going to bring more unity, harder work, greater confidence and performances in keeping with a proper United team then whatever forced us to turn the corner will have been worth it.
