Even stranger that he hasn't been given minutes in the reserves. What's the point of having a Michael Owen that is nowhere near match fit?

i'd like to see owen and berbatov play the full 90 up front together tomorrow. that partnership looked to have potential in pre-season and we don't want to become overly reliant on rooney. who could probs do with a rest anyway.

that said, i £#%&!ing love watching wayne play so i hope he starts.
