Would rather have it at a proper European Venue, not a fan of Wembley at all.

What about AJAX or somewhere like that?

I'd rather make it three in a row at the Bernabéu in 2010

Relatively easier to get tickets/get there/get home in one piece/get there cheaply/get travel lodge.

The new Estádio da Luz, Benfica's home ground, would be a fanatstic venue.

We have a 100% record in competitive European finals, period.

3 European Cup finals, 3 wins.

1 Cup Winners Cup Final, 1 win.

Yep, i personally dislike Wembley, really does not seem like a football stadium and just a theatre.

Basically sums up the stadiums in this country, all made the same, look the same and there shit.

Perhaps Ferie will look at that and think it'll be a good one to aim for. Then retirement.

They 'won' it on a tax fiddle for the players, does that mean the fans won't get charged vat on the tickets..........

Wembley to host 2011 Euro final
Wembley has been chosen to host the 2011 Champions League final.

European governing body Uefa selected the stadium ahead of Munich's Allianz Arena and Berlin's Olympiastadion.

The news had been expected after Uefa delayed its decision to allow the UK Government to bring in a tax exemption for players appearing in the final.

Wembley only missed out on the 2010 final because assurances could not be given that players competing in the final would not be taxed.

Main problem with Wembley is it's just a bigger version of the Emirates (disgusting name for a football stadium). It's the national stadium so should stand out and be unique. Instead it's a very stale place - built for corporates, not fans.

I hated the old Wembley too. Never understood the romance of the place - we had some great games there, but the ground itself was a £#%&!ing shit hole.

Berlin's Olympiastadion. That looked like a £#%&!ing awesome ground during the 2006 World Cup. Would love to see us play there.

I'm not usually a fan of grounds with running tracks, but for some reason they always seem appropriate for European Cup finals. Massive single tier bowls, with a running track then a large wide pitch. Bit like the Luzhniki Stadium

What a £#%&!ing ground that was, proper traditional football stadium.

Berlin's Olympiastadion is one of the best in Europe, fantastic ground and would love to see United there one day.
