The £#%&!ing pillock. Realised nobody else wanted him and decided to sign..no doubt on an increase in wages. Jose you £#%&!ing idiot
Fellaini held all the power. Mourinho would probably have made him the highest paid player in the world before letting him go elsewhere. He knew that. I have no idea why anyone let themselves believe we would allow him to leave.

to be fair, he can be a useful player to bring off the bench.

but surely, surely, with pogba, matic, and now fred, he is not a starter for us any more. surely.

Well he's approaching that level of "seniority" at the club now

Was bad enough being captain for one game.

State.

I wonder if the abuse he gets genuinely upsets him? I think it does tbh. Never praises us.

There's no doubt he hates us as much as we hate him. Hence why this whole contract debacle took place. Months of offering himself around Europe only to decide to take the offer kept on the table for the last 9 months. The trolled became the troll.

And Mourinho keeps telling us to shut up and take what we're given

Only to find that nobody else wanted to pay him what he gets here, I wonder why?

He is only on £1000k per week on his new deal according to the majority of the rags.

Says it all when when even PSG won't give him what is, in this day an age in footballing terms, a pretty poor weekly wage at a big club.

Because nobody else will sign him because of the backlash from the supporters

He would have been entitled to a big signing on fee from another club had he let his contract expire.

The majority of the rags are making more of a deal of the 'backlash from fans' than the actual news itself.

https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/footb...aini-contract/

https://talksport.com/football/39253...aini-new-deal/ (Worst news since Moyes)

https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footb...tupid-12802760

Says it all.

Literally never seen a player get so much abuse for signing a new contract with a club.

I'm expecting to hear he wrung one out of us seeing his contract had run out.

Would be entirely consistent with our £#%&!ing farcical dealings.
