If it's true that Aurier can play left back as well as right back then you'd think he'd be the better option at this moment?

Long term replacement for Valencia and in the mean time allows us to play him at left back and give Shaw his final chance to step up before deciding if he's worth the time.

He's been here 3 years.

shaw has looked superb when fit. deserves a chance to recover. this other guy rose without a trace.

He's just turned 22. Still young enough to hold out for potential. He needs to play an extended run of games and with that I'm sure he'll pick up again. Shaw was a long term investment when we bought him after-all.

Shaw is better than Rose imo. Why would we spend money on someone who isn't going to improve us.

I've never rated him tbh. He could be one of those players that you take him out of spurs and he gets exposed.
