The quality of the league has diminished year on year for the last 10 years and is easily the worst it’s been since about 2001.
Not seeing any progress ?

We are scoring a goal a game more than under the previous manager. We are 9 points ahead of where the previous manager had us at this point. We are creating a ton more scoring opportunities than under the previous manager.

What exactly do you class as progress?

To say we’ve not progressed from the last two managers and even last season is £#%&!ing idiotic. #@&%!ing dick slaps.

A style of play, an attacking plan that is identifiable, the shape of the side become clear and what they are trying to do being apparent. Confidence improving and mistakes being eradicated through familiarity with the set up and confidence increasing.

At the moment there’s no clear idea as to what they are trying to do the majority of the time, confidence is fragile and on its arse and we are littered with mistakes. It’s just a vague mess the vast majority of the time. Players terrified of the ball, not putting the work in and a lack of belief.

The agenda driven noncesense about Mo is tedious, if he walked down the irwell and fed the stretty with four fish and a loaf while winning the ECL they'd still be sniping

The fact the some of the ones pushing it still have a soft spot for LVG makes it borderline lunacy

I agree with that but it’s still progress from the last two managers. And it’s not the story of our entire season or last season either. It still isn’t nearly good enough though.

There is a style of play, maybe not as good as van gaal's master plan of keeping the ball so the opposition don't score plan granted. As for players being scared of the ball, the 2 who aren't are Jose's signings. Pogba & Matic are the 2 who always want the ball. Confidence could be affected by the lack of support & criticism from people like you maybe ?

I thought we played some good one touch football in the second half. I don't get why we don't try play like that all the time.

I’m sure they log on to the forum and sniffle into their gold lamé pyjamas after every game

You £#%&!ing idiot.

There is no plan or style of play, hence they struggle like £#%&! to break down even the most basic of organisation and cannot impose themselves on games against any side capable of passing the ball. Out of undead after 20 minutes. No early goal, problems..

Pogba sticks out like a £#%&!ing sore thumb, but I don’t think it’s possible to credit Mourinho with the master stroke of signing one of the highest profile players in the World

League isn't any worse than normal.

Leicester won it two years ago. Spurs second last two seasons. Neither will happen again. City settings records and we used to have Derby setting records with 16 points at the bottom

There's always good teams and shit teams.

More points more goals.....that's improved.... but no style. No way of playing. Attacking players marginalised or struck with fear. Functional players like Fellaini, rojo, young and Lukaku lauded by the boss. Mkhitaryan, Mata, martial - proper players - often the fall guys. No identity other than simply getting points.

Not a bad side but not working towards anything i want to see as a fan.

Yeah, perhaps leader was the wrong word. But he has character, which is more than some of the @#%&!s are lacking

Mou knows this and that's probably one of the main reasons he started with him today, he knows confidence is low and by starting Ibra he expected him to help with some sort of reaction after Leicester.

No pal.

Just don't think Jose Mourinho was, is or will ever be a man United manager.

He's the result of the panic of the last 4 years.

True, but we played some real shit football in Fergie's last four seasons as well.

Who's playing outstanding football this season apart from City ?

It's the man's second season, he won two trophies last year. What did Pep win ?

He's changing the squad, he's got rid of some, he's used some of the youth, he's bought reasonably well, but perhaps also a dud or two... like Fergie never done that.

We expect more, of course we do and maybe we'll still finish with silverwear.

City are an anomaly this season, we'll be back up there soon enough.
